1. Approval to recruit 500 patrolling officers in the Motorway Police

    Islamabad (Web Desk) The Federal Ministry of Communications has approved the recruitment of 500 patrolling officers in the Motorway Police. The Ministry of Communications has included the said quota in the provincially allocated quota posts instead of a separate quota for overall posts for women, disabled and minorities.                                                                      2.     Out of 321 posts of Grade 14 Patrol Officers in Ziarat Communications Motorway Police, 23 will be recruited on merit, Punjab quota 160, Sindh rural quota 38, Sindh urban quota 25, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa 38, Baluchistan 17, Gigliat and Baltistan and FATA 13 and 7 people will be recruited on Azad Kashmir quota.         
   3.Motorway Police has not reserved any posts      for women and minorities for open merit. According to the Federal Public Service Commission rules, 10 percent of posts are reserved for women and 2 percent for disabled and minorities. 179 posts of Motorway Police will be reserved for the employees of the department and 321 posts will be recruited under open merit and quota system. All posts of Motorway Police will be recruited under Federal Public Service Commission''.
