The Axis countries also included Bulgaria, Finland, Hungary, Romania, and Thailand, while the Allies included Albania, Australia, Belgium, Brazil, Canada, China, Denmark, Ethiopia, Greece, Iran, India, Iraq, the Netherlands, New Zealand, Norway, Poland, South Africa, and Yugoslavia. These countries had to voluntarily join the war because they had no other choice.

The reader will know from this statement that the number of Russian killed and wounded in this war alone was greater than in any other war the world had ever fought.
